ETARU, CONTEMPORARY JAPANESE DINING, PARTNERS WITH TAMZ

TAMZ MARKETS FOR THE NEW AND NOTEWORTHY RESTAURANT IN THE MAGIC CITY

If you love Zuma, you’re going to love Etaru, the new oceanfront destination for contemporary Japanese robatayaki cuisine in Hallandale Beach. Tamz creatively positioned the Etaru brand to bring an engaging wow factor as the new culinary cool kids on the block. We kicked off our partnership with a seductive film to entice Etaru’s guests to indulge in the the innovative robatayaki menu. This was followed up by a beautifully designed email blast to keep the grand experience going. And this is just the beginning.

GREAT THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT ETARU

Rainer Becker, co-founder and creator of Zuma restaurants worldwide and Roka London, partnered with Roka Executive Chef Hamish Brown to create Etaru. Head chef Sergio Rivera (with experience at Nobu and Makoto under his belt) presides over the kitchen.

“ETARU follows in the footsteps of ROKA London- an evolution, so to speak, of that brand.” says Becker. “We wanted to introduce the Japanese Robatayaki cuisine to the area using the best and freshest ingredients available in the local community.” “I wanted us to be part of the vibrant dining scene in Miami using a concept that works so well with the produce available on our doorstep. The concept has always been to enjoy simply cooked, tasty food in a warm, fun and inviting environment. There is something about grilling food on the open Robatayaki that gives the dishes a wonderful unforgettable flavour!”

The former Hyde Kitchen and Bar space, located in the Hyde Hallandale Beach Club, is directly on the ocean. The sand and surf are mere feet away. The space has been revamped to include a robata grill and is outfitted in pale Brazilian Ipe wood and floor-to-ceiling windows framing ocean views. Despite the minimalism the room is full of energy. There’s a bustling sushi counter behind which a team of chefs churn out maki and man the robata grill, while a phalanx of servers circles the room distributing these delicacies.
