FROM THINK TAMZ TO THINK HEALTH! RAISING OVER $2M TO ADVANCE BRAIN HEALTH.
It’s a given that any event with Andrea Bocelli‘s name on the invitation is going to be epic and “Up Close and Personal” during Art Basel Miami Beach was no exception. The event was hosted by Veronica and Andrea Bocelli; Gloria and Emilio Estefan and the Cleveland Clinic and brought out Miami’s finest to enjoy a gorgeous evening. In addition to the beautiful wines and cocktails, guests enjoyed an exclusive and intimate performance by Andrea Bocelli himself, as well as performances by soprano Larisa Martinez and pianist Lola Astanova. The proceeds from ticket sales—beginning at $5,000 each—benefitted the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and the Andrea Bocelli Foundation.
“We are committed to having a major impact on brain disease over the next decade,” said Cleveland Clinic CEO and President Tom Mihaljevic, M.D. “And we couldn’t do that without the help of generous people like those who hosted, sponsored and attended the event.”
The event—which also included a live auction of Romero Britto artwork—raised $2 million to advance brain health for the Cleveland Clinic. It was made possible by Acquavella, as well as supporting committee members and partners Roberta & Harvey Chaplin, Arlene & Wayne Chaplin, Bobbi & Mel Dick, Evelyn & Seymour Holtzman, Raysa & Alfonso Fanjul, Dom Ruinart, Haute Living and Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits.
