TAMZ COVERS EVERY SECOND OF SLS LUX GRAND OPENING

THE GLITTERATI WERE IN TOW FOR A SIT-DOWN DINNER ON THE POOL DECK & AFTER PARTY DOWNSTAIRS

SLS Lux Brickell, the luxurious culmination of a partnership between the Related Group and Sam Nazarian’s SBE Group, held its grand opening last night. Featuring a sit down dinner to the cuisine of Chef Katsuya Uechi, beats by DJ Irie, and dozens of Miami power players, TAMZ, in the epicenter, was there to interact with and document every second of the action. Utilizing a full panoply of media, elevating the brand and the event.

Immersing ourselves in the moment, TAMZ implemented new streaming technology, engaging users on another level visually and viscerally. As the night went on, we had the collaborative inspiration to include a drone, Facebook live streaming, and oversee all audio visual.

The night began with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails on the sensational pool deck as the sun set on the Miami skyline. Chef Kasuya got to work on a beautiful salmon of extraordinary size, preparing it for a sushi dinner that evening.

The evening’s presentation was emceed by local television personality Roxanne Vargas, with everyone from Nazarian, to the Related Group’s Jorge Perez and Chef Katsuya himself briefly speaking about the triumph of opening Brickell’s next great residential, hotel, and dining destination. Carlos Rosso, President of Related’s Luxury Condo Division spoke, and so did Allen Morris, head of the Allen Morris Company, another developer for the project.

A cigar bar provided puffs, a tequila bar by Maestro Dobel provided drinks, Irie made the whole evening supremely ambient, and then dinner was served. The traditional SLS bell was rung, and the party was underway.

SLS Lux architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia and interior designers George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg were in attendance, of course. So was artist Fabian Burgos who created the monumental mural on the facade. Mayor Gimenez was there, and so were a few commissioners.

The meal featured steak and of course a sushi selection that included Katsuya’s big tuna.

Afterwards, everyone headed downstairs to an after party at S Bar, and at Chef Katsuya’s namesake destination restaurant, Katsuya, featuring desert, the fantastic Cuban singer Aymee Nuviola, and more revelry.
